Our one-of-a-kind event consists of tennis in the morning and a private group trip to one of the most popular wineries in Northern, VA, The Winery at Bull Run!

As a former tennis instructor and coach, I was looking for high quality instruction in a fun environment. Mani Barajas-Alexander strikes the perfect balance infusing competitive tennis into happy, playful surroundings. He has an incredible knack for pairing player skills and personality, making clinics and practices feel like a party with friends in no time. I always leave our sessions together feeling like my technical skills have been improved, my knowledge of the game enlightened, and happy to have played and laughed with great people.

Sip n’ Serve was a unique experience, one truly worth the time and nominal investment!
It was very well organized; the food was healthy and delicious, and the winery experience was superb! I got to play well planned, quality drills and matches; and then had the chance to relax, unwind, sip good wine, and enjoy quality time with the other players, in a very nice ambience of camaraderie and friendship. I would sign up for again in a heartbeat! Thanks Mani for providing such a nice experience!

The TopNotch tennis program with director Mani Barajas-Alexander is absolutely
exceptional. The staff is able to create a positive and productive tennis experience for both beginner and experienced players. I have been fortunate enough to play tennis through this program for the last few years, and have benefited greatly from their expertise. Mani and his team strive hard to tailor an instructional atmosphere that fosters competition, friendship, and most importantly, FUN - the ultimate tennis experience in my opinion.

I have to admit, I was a bit skeptical about the whole idea behind Sip 'N Serve initially; in my entire tenure playing tennis, I had never come across something as unique as this event. After talking with Mani and getting a general idea of what to expect, it definitely seemed like something worth trying! There was literally nothing I had to worry about - the locations were all incredible and it was an absolutely seamless transition from location to location. The tennis instructors provided valuable input on my game - it was great to hear different points of views and run through some different drills. My favorite part was getting the opportunity to let loose a little bit with everyone else, and meet new people! Tennis has a funny way of bringing people together - adding in some wine certainly didn't hurt! I can't wait for the next one!

I had a great time at the Sip & Serve event and would love to attend again. The ‘serve’ portion was set at a beautiful country club with a mix of drills and match play. As a relatively new player it was a great opportunity for me to see and play with folks at a higher level. Even though I was on the lower end of the spectrum, I felt like I was teamed up with the right players to be
successful. The ‘sip’ portion was also fantastic! It was held at a gorgeous winery, tasting delicious wines, and getting to know other players through games like giant jenga and cornhole. The Topnotch team really thought of everything to make this an amazing event.
